The Tainan Juvenile Detention House houses delinquents across the Tainan region who are at least 12 years of age and those younger than 18, including criminal defendants were housed under Article 71 and Article 26 of Juvenile Accident Act .There is a drug rehabilitation center had established to treat the juveniles who are subject to rehabilitation by court order.

Each inmate is designated to a living quarter of approximately 2.27 square meters. The facility accommodates up to 116 juvenile inmates (103 males and 13 females, some of them are here for rehabilitation). Base on the case that juvenile has been involved in, juveniles will be separated and allocated to three types of living quarters, such as the criminal case room, the protection case room and the rehabilitation survey room.
